According to the local Ford dealerships, this hard plastic tonneau cover fits all "late model" Ford Ranger short bed trucks...meaning that it should fit both regular cab and extended cab models with the 6' bed. I'm not exactly sure what "late model" means, and the Ford garages couldn't give me very specific answers, but it would appear to fit models as far back as 1996 or so through this years' models. (My truck is a 2002.)
This tonneau cover comes with the bed liner shown in the photos above, and is extremely versitile. With the removable divider shown, it can be split into two separate compartments, both of which can be locked (including latches to keep the tailgate locked), and can fold over to leave the back section open. It comes off in about 5 minutes, but it is a two person job to remove it.
The cover comes with all hardware, and because it is five years old, has standard wear and tear, so there are some minor plastic parts that have been cracked or broken over the years, as well as a missing bungee strap on the driver's side that holds the cover down when the back half is open (see picture 14). The passenger side strap holds the cover down fine, and I have driven 70 mph on the interstate with the back half open and had no problem with this issue. This tonneau cover is fully functional.
I had to part with it because, as you may have guessed by the name of my site, I am a musician, and needed to buy a cap to accomodate the equipment I transport. However, I preferred the look of my truck with the tonneau cover.
The cost is $400 for the cover and liner.
